Shamim is a development professional and former diplomat with a passion for shaping results-driven solutions in emerging markets. He has 15 years of experience in project management, stakeholder engagement and policy analysis in education and financial inclusion. In his current role at the World Bank Group, he advises higher education institutions and regulators on improving the employability outcomes of their graduates and helps with the design of sustainable and market-aligned training ecosystems. He is a graduate of the London School of Economics. He grew up in Burkina Faso, and speaks French, Spanish, Farsi, and Haitian Creole.
